This equipment consists of the following main components:
Heater
Evaporator chamber
Gas-liquid separator
Condenser
Cooler
Receiver tank
Valves and piping within the system
Live steam enters the heater, heating the feed solution, which then rises and is sprayed into the evaporator chamber through a nozzle. The vapor and liquid are separated in the chamber. A portion of the liquid returns to the lower part of the heater via circulation pipes for reheating, and is then re-sprayed into the evaporator chamber, forming a continuous circulation loop.
When the feed solution reaches a certain concentration level, density meter feedback triggers the discharge of the concentrated liquid from the outlet port.
The vapor generated in the evaporator chamber passes through a demister to remove foam, and then goes through the gas-liquid separator. A portion of the liquid is returned to the evaporator chamber to maintain stable operation.
The remaining secondary steam is condensed into liquid by the condenser and cooler, and collected in the receiver tank. Non-condensable gases are either vented or removed by a vacuum pump.
